Description
Aerobatics being perform with the T-6 Texan at the TICO Airshow in Titusville Florida. The North American T-6 Texan was known as "the pilot maker" because of its important role in preparing pilots for combat. The Texan was developed with the express intention of creating an advanced trainer as a last step for pilots before they graduated to fighters. Stepped-tandem seating in the single cockpit places one crew member in front of the other, with the student and instructor positions being interchangeable.
